The DC700Chain model is an AC/DC powered addition to the LockMaster® family of slide gate operators. Designed with a 120V AC/DC (1/2 HP equivalent) motor, this chain-drive sliding gate opener provides exceptional starting torque and continuous operation, making it ideal for most applications. Constructed with an aluminum alloy chassis, it's corrosion resistant and light enough for one person to carry and install. Motor supports gates weighing up to 700 lbs. and up to 50 ft. in length.

Fast and Simple September 24, 2010

The DC700 was quick and easy to install.   The instructions were not the best so be sure to read through them and make sure you understand before you start.  This is my first opener I have ever installed and I had it installed with the optional LM106 keypad using solar only.  I found that I will need to add extra batteries storage when using both.
