Overall this is a good kit. I would have given it 5 stars, but there was something lost in translation from Chinese to English with the instructions. Some statements in the instructions are really hard to figure out what is being said. I feel like I have just become an expert on how to engineer a gate opening system after having to figure out the hard way how to install and program this sytem using these instructions. So, the bottom line is, I reccommend buying this kit if you want a reasonably priced gate opener system, but be prepared to spend some time figuring out the installation and programming because you will be doing it by trial and error with limited instructions. Also, this kit comes with a 10 watt solar panel and small batteries. If you are planning to run this exclusively on solar power, upgrade to a 20 watt panel and 12ah batteries. It won't cost you much, but it will be worth it and the system will actually be able to handle the load that you will be putting on it.
