Opens gates up to 1,400 lbs or 40 Ft in length (20 ft chain is included; if your gates more 20 ft. in length just purchase an extra chain in "Chains" section).

Small but A Great Sliding Gate for The Money! October 5, 2012

Installation for these units are easy to follow. I got the DSC1000 at first because of its alternate solar power option which could have been advantageous in our location but it was total disaster from day 1 with its circuit board kept breaking/failing after each few weeks of use. Then ALEX was so patient to guide me and recommended the DKL400UY. Since then, my family has finally been relieved and enjoy the ease of its use, rain or sun.

Okay this is an awesome motor for the money.  And don't take that to mean, it's cheap quality.  Pretty straight forward install, once familiar with lingo.  More important, this is a standup company that took care of me right away, when a part broke on ME.  Alex, had it replaced and shipped within 24 hours.  That's awesome customer service.  Fully recommend.

I found this unit easy to install. The instructions were clear and concise. The set up and fine tuning took more time, but the unit moves my gate without any problems.
